Long before I saw my first historical novel published, I was writing children’s books. As we end one year and begin another, I have exciting announcements to make about two devotional books for girls.
Real Girls of the Bible:
A 31-Day Devotional
Real Girls of the Bible: A 31-Day Devotional has a new cover!
On December 24th Zonderkidz re-released my devotional book for girls with its new look.
The Women of Faith Store carries Real Girls of the Bible: A 31-Day Devotional!
View your world with fresh eyes.
From Faithgirlz comes Real Girls of the Bible, featuring thirty-one stories about real girls from the Old and New Testaments. Just like you, each of these girls had to find her place in the world, and though your worlds are very different, you’ll find that many of the struggles were the same—like fitting in and struggling to do the right thing. Each devotion includes Scripture, prayer, Body Talk and more. With thirty-one days of devotions, discover what real girls from the Bible might have to say about finding your way.
“We used REAL GIRLS OF THE BIBLE as our devotional presentation this week. The oldest girl in the group, age 16, gave the devotions and did a nice job.” Diana, Girls Club Leader
Beauty of Believing
I don’t have a cover to show you yet, but in September 2014 Zonderkidz will release a new Faithgirlz devotional titled Beauty of Believing: 365 Devotions for Girls. One of the beauties of this book for girls ages 8-13 is that I get to be a part of it, along with several other Faithgirlz devotional writers, including: Nancy Rue, Kristi Holl, Lois Johnson, Tasha Douglas, and Allia Zobel Nolan.
In this upcoming books, readers will discover how we view the beauty of believing. And find out what girls in our sphere of influence are saying the beauty of believing means to them.
Beauty of Believing, scheduled for release in September 2014, is a devotional that will help girls deepen their faith and explore subjects that are relevant and important to all girls. It will guide girls as they grow into the women God created them to be and help them appreciate what it means to be a follower of Christ.
